About the department
CDD Executive Office is a small and ambitious team placed in the area CDD which is home to around 930 colleagues located in Denmark India and the US driving value creation by developing differentiated products and safeguard patient’s safety. In CDD Executive Office we are driving the overall strategy and business priorities including sustainability, a curriculum for senior leaders plus leadership and internal communication. You will report to the Senior Director of the CDD Executive Office for CDD and you will also be part of the Novo Nordisk Global Communicators’ Network.
The position We are working on a programme that has the ambition of maximising the potential of our treatment solutions to better treat more patients. To achieve this ambition, we need to enable greater use of digitalisation, rethink our processes, and work with our culture. Your role will be split equally into 2 key responsibilities which consist of leading communication of that strategic programme and acting as a strategic advisor and executor on various digital projects. As communication lead of the programme, you will work closely with the Senior Project Manager and the team to ensure that the communication effort supports the goals, and your most important tasks are to: Plan and execute timely and catchy cross-organisational communication with the purpose of creating continued meaning and movement around the ambition and goals Communicate wins and progress through multiple communication channels and drive several events, Reach out and engage with multiple stakeholders to get them onboard and for them to play an active part in the execution of the communication effort As communication advisor, you will: Use your creative and playful approach to advice on and drive communication in various digital projects Apply your strong stakeholder management skills to support and work with various stakeholders in relation to the digital projects, acting as a trusted advisor by providing competent sparring to colleagues on best communication solutions and use of channels Find energy in preparing key messages and presentations and producing content for our internal platforms, such as articles, video updates, and Yammer posts Furthermore, you are offered ample opportunities to shape the content of your job by being proactive, hungry for more, and keeping a finger on the pulse of the organisation. Qualifications To thrive and succeed, we expect you have a strong flair and passion for digitalisation and life science industry combined with: Master’s degree in a relevant field 5+ years’ of experience within corporate internal communications with a primary focus on strategic communication, leadership communication, and change management Proven track record in the development and execution of communication programmes and setting agendas across large, international organisations Expertise in the selection and use of effective communication tools and the ability to provide your stakeholders with outstanding communications advisory and execution Knowledge about Office 365 features by heart (including SharePoint, Yammer, Teams), and you master creating visually appealing presentations, short videos and articles that catch the interest of the audience Fluent oral and written English On a personal level, you are a strategic thinker and ambitious on behalf of the communication profession. You have an independent and result-oriented way of working and you approach tasks with energy, creativity and a playful edge making your work stand out from the crowd. You are curious towards colleagues and their trade and you are comfortable working with senior leaders inside and outside your own organisational area.
