Planning and execution of developmental tests and trials
You will become a member of Tempur-Sealy´s Advanced Technology chemical development department. You will join a dedicated team of colleagues in Denmark and the US who work continuously on strengthening the Tempur® brand by developing and improving products and production. You will be a part of an international team of experienced chemical engineers and lab technicians – 3 engineers and 3 technicians are employed at the location in Aarup on Funen.
Your job will include enhancement and development of existing foam types, as well as development of new recipes. Your primary areas of responsibility on the team include:
After an in-depth introduction to the technologies and systems used by Tempur Sealy, you will also be expected to participate actively in the development and testing of new ideas. Development projects are generally headed by the chemical engineer – you will, however, also be involved, and you will be personally responsible for parts of the projects as soon as you are able to assume such responsibility.
A technician or a lab assistant
You may have a background as a chemical technician, a lab technician, a process technologist or a lab assistant and may already have worked on the development of products for the process industry. You may have experience from a test center where you have worked on chemical development and testing.
It is a requirement that you are fascinated by polymer chemistry and wish to be involved in the operational aspects of the ongoing developmental work, where theory, practical trials and a structured development process generate unique products and lead to an efficient production process.
As a person you are a fast learner. You thrive with a dynamic and varied work life, but you retain a systematic and thorough approach to your work.
Our corporate language is English, and it is a requirement that you speak and write English.
