SAP Basis is the heart of operations of the global SAP system landscape in [xxxxx], which is mission-critical for us in many of our business processes. Our dedicated specialists enable colleagues across the organization to be efficient and successful with their responsibilities and goals based on the SAP solutions.
What is the job about?As part of our SAP Basis team you will be joining 12 colleagues working from offices in Denmark, China and the Philippines. Together with your team you will be responsible for the Operation and Basis part of all SAP applications used throughout [xxxxx] globally. You ensure a smooth operation in all daily activities on the SAP platforms, handling incidents efficiently as well as optimization of all SAP installations.
An open SAP platform

In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of our SAP system landscape. A system landscape that is following the SAP strategy with an increasing number of cloud services and therefore transforming significantly in the years to come. Coordinating with your team and partners you will ensure that all installations and upgrades are carried out as agreed and according to the requirements of the business. You will find a unique opportunity to work on all levels of the platform as well as all technologies connected to the SAP environment. Additionally, you will have a lot of interaction directly with SAP.
An open SAP platformYour activities will include:Ensure operations and optimization of all SAP systems - on-premise and in the cloud, including implementing patches, add-ons and upgrades
Ensure system performance and high availability, including incident handling, in collaboration with application consultants, sourcing partners and developers
Contribute to complex technical projects such as business implementation projects, SAP upgrades and system refreshes
Participate in security and audit activities, e.g., Finance and IS audits

Reporting to the delivery area manager for IS SAP Operations, the position is based in Bjerringbro and requires that you are already located in Denmark.

We are looking for a person with excellent collaboration skills and a team mindset. You have the seniority and overview to be the go-to person when help and sparring are needed. You are genuinely interested in developing end-to-end responsibility and responsiveness in your team.
Your backgroundYou are familiar with global business setups and processes working across different locations. You bring experience with the transition of SAP platforms to the cloud. Our systems run on Linux, AIX and Windows, and we use Oracle, MaxDB and SAP HANA.
You will need experience with:SAP Basis work
More than 5 years of experience working in IT operations
Experience in a global environment
In-depth IT and database knowledge
Basic knowledge of ITIL
Proficient in English and Danish
