The position As our new Advanced Mechanical Engineer your overall objective will be to conceive and develop mechanical concepts and solutions to optimize our filling lines. Apart from that, you will be responsible for: Drawing the mechanical designs in CAD systems, improving the design after test interpretation, and making the ideas come to life by implementation in our global production network Helping us to make our filling lines more efficient and live up to even higher standards. The aseptic environment conditions the designs and materials we can use, but since we are focused on innovation, we require less documentation Providing support to projects as well as coordinating and managing projects, depending on your experience. Your tasks will be very varied and include idea generation, design of mechanical solutions, testing, and coordination. You can rely on your team and our mechanical and aseptic specialists to assist you. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have an analytical and innovative mindset with an interest in complex technical problems. You should be passionate about developing new mechanical solutions. You are a team player who is outgoing and eager to search for opportunities in partnerships with stakeholders. Additionally, you have: Have relevant experience creating mechanical solutions (mechanical design and development) Minimum a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or in any other relevant field Good knowledge of CAD systems like SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, and Creo Experience with robust design Experience in robotics, automation, design for aseptic processing, GMP, and stainless steel is a great plus Fluency in written and spoken English When navigating among multiple stakeholder interests - your communication and interpersonal skills are essential tools on your road to success. About the department You will be a part of the Mechanical Innovation in Manufacturing Development in Diabetes Finished Products, Product Supply. Your working place will be both at our test factory in Kalundborg as well as our global specialist center in Bagsværd. The team's mission is to minimize or eliminate human interaction with our injectable products through optimization, robotics, and automation. You will work together with academics, technicians, and external development partners covering a wide range of disciplines. We guarantee that you will be exposed to exciting challenges and development opportunities, and we are also focusing on a very strong and comprehensive onboarding.
