The position As an Associate Supply Manager, you will be responsible for securing the supply of raw materials, excipients and process aids while driving category optimization projects across the inbound supply chain to add a competitive advantage to the NN supply chain. The scope of the projects or changes can vary, e.g. focus on the suppliers, the manufacturing sites, forecasting process, or compliance-related matters.
Apart from that, you are expected to identify better practices, drive process improvements and act as a role model in the category and department. Further, you will support and act as a sparring partner for the cross-organizational category team on a strategic level. In addition, this is a job with a high degree of independence where results are achieved through good collaboration with stakeholders of all levels. Your Qualifications To succeed in this position, you: Hold an MSc in supply chain management or other relevant fields
A Min. 2 years of experience within the supply chain management field
Have presentation and project management skills
Have excellent IT skills, Excel and PowerPoint
You have a strong analytical and quality mindset – both in terms of data and processes. You communicate effectively, meet deadlines, and approach tasks in a structured way. You are a dedicated team player who inspires trust amongst colleagues and partners. You have a positive attitude towards challenges and see continuous improvement as a natural part of your job. About the department Inbound Supply Management is part of the Sourcing Organisation (SoOp) responsible for planning, purchasing, distributing, and warehousing of the thousands of materials going into our productions worldwide. Our common goal is to ensure a reliable supply of quality products (raw and packaging materials) in regulatory compliance, sustainable, and at a competitive cost to Novo Nordisk manufacturing sites globally.
