Would you like to be part of leading the digital transformation in Novo Nordisk? If so, you could be one of our new Digital Engineering & People Leaders in the Digital Accelerator (DA). The team waiting for you You will join the Digital Accelerator (DA), a unit in Digital Data & IT acting as a trusted advisor and partner on greenfield software development ventures helping business areas realise digital aspirations. Novo Nordisk continues to invest in digital products to enable the business to reach its strategic objectives. We, in the Digital Accelerator, are partnering with the business to bring digital innovation ideas to life and mature our ways of working within digital products. We are four dedicated DA teams responsible for designing, developing, and operating digital products in collaboration with the business i.e., Research & Early Development, Development, Product Supply, and Commercial. You will become a part of an inspiring, and ambitious work environment, where modern software development methodologies, tools, teamwork, and a growth mindset is key. What you will be doing We are looking for thought leaders who are eager to drive maturity within digital engineering and who have a passion for leading people within this field – someone who can set the direction, provide guidance, and drive people development. You will be working with sophisticated business challenges in Novo Nordisk’s digital area and will be exposed to stakeholders across the organisation. By utilizing your leadership skills and knowledge about software development and digital product management you will play an instrumental role in strengthening software engineering leadership in the DA, helping product teams challenge the status quo and adapt best practices in collaboration with our Capability Leads. Moreover, you will manage tactical and operational needs from the product teams – direct people management, recruitment, team health, rotation, and capacity planning across the DA. You will report to the DA Lead who has the overall responsibility for business partnering and continued development of the DA; you will be a sparring partner to the DA Lead, co-driving the recommendations and strategy for how we execute. Your responsibilities will include Direct Manager for 15-25 Designers, Tech Leads, Software Developers, and Agile Coaches, ensuring the well-being and development of employees Partner and collaborate closely with the business (i.e., Product Owner and the Scrum Master) to create the best possible environment for high-performing product teams Support and engage product teams to adapt best practices and improved ways of working in collaboration with Capability Leads Daily responsible for the DA delivery teams and being the escalation point for Product Owner(s) Support business and the delivery organisation with sparring and support in handling delivery or execution challenges Develop and drive the DA people strategy incl. sourcing of talents – make/buy, partnering and/or growing talents internally, as well as recruitment, retainment, attraction, and rotation Do you have what it takes? You have a master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related fields. Additionally, you have a minimum of 4-5 years of solid experience in software development, DevOps, and digital product management. Moreover, we see our next colleagues as having A proven track record of leading teams specialised in software development and operations Experience working within the Agile setup.
