The Position The Automation & IT team is composed of highly skilled professionals that work in a collaborative way and strive to have fun while working together. In Automation & IT team in PPV we are thrilled to drive the innovations that are setting the new standard on how automation is designed, implemented and operated in the pharma industry. Implementation and validation of Automation solutions, with primary focus on PLC. Support the development of innovative technologies and enable access to future IT/OT platforms Steer plant changes, make recommendations, ensure engineering designs criteria are met and support projects in an operational readiness project stage Own PLC and support day-to-day operations once factory is operational here in Kalundborg, actively contributing to efficiently run our manufacturing processes Communicate with quality, openly, clearly, and timely with all relevant stakeholders Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will have: You hold a relevant engineering or technician degree. 3-5 years minimum experience with PLC/HMI. Experience on handling projects, operations, and maintenance in the Automation area. Experience preferably within the Pharma industry, and / or biotech companies (e.g. complex filling lines, wash, packaging, cleaning & utility systems) Strong knowledge within IT/OT (PCS/DCS/PLC HW/SW components) GMC and Lean knowledge preferred. Fluent in English oral and written; Danish preferred but not mandatory In a personal way you are an engaging individual who can work with multidisciplinary teams and projects and act proactively while implementing new solutions. Your strong sense of urgency and work ethic allows you to meet project milestones and timelines while always communicating respectfully. About the Department PPV Business Support department for PPV in Kalundborg is today composed by different teams being Automation & IT one with the biggest impact for setting the state-of-the-art and biggest API (insulin) factory in the world.
