Novo Nordisk continues to build the Next Generation IT Support. Our team is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operation of our Global Service Desk to ensure an optimal End user experience. The main focus for this role is on tickets escalated to 2nd and 3rd lines of support, ensuring the continuous improvement and the alignment with our internal and external stakeholders across Digital Data & IT (DD&IT)
Your key responsibilities would be to:
  • Monitor service performance of the Global Service Desk with focus on tickets escalated to the 2nd and 3rd level support groups
  • Collaborate closely with NN Service Managers/Product Owners, Regional IT Managers, Global Service Desk supplier and Third-party suppliers
  • Ensure communication to GSD/1st line support and handling the tickets escalations, worldwide across multiple time-zones in close collaboration the NN operations team
  • Vendor management (third party vendors)
  • Liaison with contract and sourcing managers to assess contract scope, roles, and responsibilities of main 3rd party-suppliers
  • Which competencies to bring?
  • M.Sc., MBA or similar graduate degree in relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent job experience
  • 3+ years of experience service management in Service Desk in an international company
  • Experience with Agile principles, methodologies, and events
  • Experience with vendor management

    Global IT Support is anchored within the Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) organisation and has employees based in different countries across the world. In DD&IT, we work Agile, and in the GITS Product Area, we have four products and eight regional teams. The products cover End User Support Experience, Service Operation Excellence, Regional IT Services and ITAM.
