About the department
The Group Reporting and Insights team is responsible for the financial management of the Novo Nordisk Group supporting key decisions together with the VP of Group Finance, Sales insights and BI for the SVP of Business Finance, CFO and Executive Management including advanced ad-hoc financial and strategic analysis. Additionally, the team is responsible for driving the Corporate financial processes such as Monthly Management reporting, Budgets, Enterprise Risk Management, and Quarterly closing processes as well as financial analysis and material for Executive Management and Board of Directors The job
As Head of Group Reporting and Insights you will be heading up a team of 9 highly talented employees in Denmark and 3 indirect reports in Bangalore, India. Further to this, you will work in close collaboration with peers and colleagues across the value chain in the different EVP areas in order to secure strong financial management of Novo Nordisk. As Head of Group Reporting and Insights you are expected to set direction for the team and secure a continuous focus on personal development in the team. You will together with the team act as a finance partner to senior stakeholders across Novo Nordisk. Further, to support the CFP ambition of driving standardisation and automation across departments, you are responsible for the continued focus on driving the finance excellence agenda including BI initiatives.
Qualifications
• You hold a master’s degree within business or economics and have at least 4-5 years of relevant working experience. • You have worked in various functional areas where you have demonstrated very strong analytical skills and preferably have a solid understanding of pharmaceutical industry. • You have demonstrated the ability to interact with senior stakeholders, where you have been capable of driving an agenda independently. • You have a flair for details and therefore an interest in learning and understanding the business behind the numbers. • The atmosphere in the department is informal but ambitious, so if you are ready to walk the extra mile to secure development of the department, while holding on to your good sense of humour, you are the kind of person we are looking for.
