Let’s talk about the role As a key role in our Immersive Technology team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and supporting the roll-out of VR initiatives within Product Supply. Being part of a small team, you will have great impact on how the technology will be used, both today and, in the future, setting a precedent in the organization. In the role as an VR Developer, you will be responsible for supporting the launch of our newly established VR track and you will report to the Associate Manager of the Immersive Technologies team. Among others, your tasks will include: Designing and developing immersive and engaging VR experiences in collaboration with internal stakeholders at our production sites. Staying up to date with the latest trends and best practices in VR development Driving internal communication initiatives and implementation activities within Novo Nordisk to establish the VR infrastructure Bringing your analytical mindset to work, creating technical solutions that are ready to be used by line of business across Product Supply. Being responsible to drive and implement solutions, all the way from finding the right use cases, executing proof on concepts, to the final large-scale implementation, supporting thousands of employees across continents The skills we hope to see As an ideal candidate you have: A Bachelor`s or Master’s degree within a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Game Design) Experience from previous projects on applying technology in innovative solutions to solve business challenges Prior exposure to Unity, VR development tools, different headsets, 3D modelling and knowledge of UX/UI applied to XR History of working with AR/VR concepts and solutions Fluent written and spoken English Familiarity with project management and knowledge about agile methodologies is a plus As a person you are an ambitious and innovative team player who has a result-oriented way of working. You approach tasks with structure, energy, curiosity, and a positive attitude with a proactive mindset. You have a flair for collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders. What team to join You will join our Automation and Immersive Technologies Department, which is part of our Product Supply, Quality & IT area in Novo Nordisk. The team is responsible for implementing, developing, supporting, and maintaining Immersive Technologies (Augmented & Virtual Reality) across our production sites globally in Novo Nordisk. We partner with the business to support digital transformation and innovation in all parts of the Novo Nordisk value chain – from idea to patient. We accelerate digital value creation through standardized, efficient, and secure technology platforms – the foundation for everything digital in Novo Nordisk.
