The position As a Financial Risk Manager, you will be responsible for treasury activities across one of our regions and further support Novo Nordisk acquisition activities. On a daily basis, you will collaborate with Novo Nordisk affiliates, stakeholders in Corporate Finance and be in close dialogue with international banks. Your key responsibilities in this role will include:
  • Support Novo Nordisk acquisition activities from a Treasury perspective, including due diligence, funding execution, integration planning etc.
  • Mitigate financial risks in Novo Nordisk’ sales affiliates while balancing these with business opportunities.
  • Provide funding for affiliates and production sites and act as anchor point for the cash management set-up in affiliates.
  • Prepare recommendations and general reporting for senior management.
  • Ad hoc analysis and problem solving.

Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • An academic background with a Master of Science in e.g. Economics or Finance with excellent results.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience from an international company or the financial sector.
  • excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to connect with a wide-range of people of different cultures and seniority.
  • Excellent written and spoken English is required.
    • On a personal level, you are analytical, ambitious, and energetic with eagerness to learn and develop, and have positive attitude towards challenges, with ability to proactively drive a project forward and deliver high quality. We expect you to take ownership of your assignments, work independently while also achieving results through collaboration with others. About the department You will join the Global Financial Risk team in Corporate Treasury, which is responsible for managing financial risks in affiliates and maintaining and developing the Group’s global cash management set-up. We are a department of seven dedicated and highly skilled professionals with five located in our headquarter in Bagsværd, DK, one located in Zurich, CH and one located in Princeton, US. Corporate Treasury also consists of the Corporate Financial Risk department, responsible for handling financial risks at Group level, and the Insurance Risk Management department, responsible for handling Novo Nordisk’s insurance programs.
