Do you want to play a key role in a pharmaceutical manufacturing supply chain area and be a close sparring partner to the senior management group as well as drive key strategic initiatives? Then take on this unique development opportunity and apply for our newly established Executive Assistant (EA) role supporting the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Supply Chain & Business Development (SC&BD) in Product Supply, Quality and IT (PSQIT)

The position
As EA, you will be part of the Global Supply Chain leadership team (GSCLT) with members from across Product Supply, International Operations & North America Operations. You will in close collaboration with the senior management team lead the strategic processes and initiatives, ensure effective management meetings, and be part of cross-organisational projects in the area. The EA position reports to the Head of Supply/Demand Committee Secretariat, who is part of GSCLT.

Main responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and executive support to SVP of SC&BD and represent the SVP in various initiatives, meetings, and events
  • Support the Global Supply Chain leadership team (GSCLT) with meeting management, business intelligence and analyses, and policy deployment
  • Drive deployment of the Global Supply Chain strategy
  • Manage the complex supply chain stakeholder landscape
  • If you are the ideal candidate, you have professional experience with:
  • Management: either line-manager or project manager, situational leadership, value-based management, lead/develop/engage people
  • Business development and business intelligence
  • Analytical skillset combined with a proactive mindset to put analysis into timely actions
  • Strategy deployment, preferably in pharma business
  • Stakeholder management and change management
  • BSc or MSc with at least 5 years of experience relevant to the EA position
  • On a personal level you have high level of integrity, are openminded and curious, and therefore constantly on the lookout for how to improve processes. You are a team player, a great collaborator, and you utilise your relationships with your stakeholders to achieve success in your projects and tasks.     About the department
    From May 2023 we have decided to split the current ‘Supply Chain & PSQIT Finance’ into two separate SVP areas dedicating increased focus on Supply Chain Management and Business Development in the SVP area SC&BD.
