As our new Lead Ergonomist, you will together with a colleague drive ergonomic initiatives across Novo Nordisk, overseeing the entire process from conceptualization to execution to ensure the promotion of ergonomic practices throughout the organization and take responsibility for improving existing ergonomic concepts. A part of the role will be also designing and conducting training and learning programs aimed at facilitating the successful implementation and long-term sustainability of ergonomic initiatives, ensuring that employees have the necessary knowledge and skills.
Additional tasks may include: Maintaining and enhancing networks for trainers, leads, and captains Developing user-friendly guidelines and toolboxes for easy implementation of the ergonomics strategy Staying updated on global best practices and trends and sharing within the HS organization. Managing cross-functional projects and global stakeholders. Staying updated with global occupational health and safety trends in ergonomics. Supporting the organization in updating the method for ergonomic risk assessments Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications: Master’s degree or comparable qualifications within an area of relevance to ergonomics Background knowledge of human physiology and physical activity Minimum of 5 years of experience within H&S consultancy or ergonomic counselling, preferably in a global organization Project management experience Training experience both face2face and virtually Ability to set up and execute surveys and analyze data to extract the root cause The ideal candidate excels in structuring and solving complex tasks with a solution-oriented approach. As a person, you bring a dynamic, collaborative, and innovative attitude to your work and possess a high level of personal integrity to navigate within complex organizations. You demonstrate organized, proactive project management skills, strong stakeholder management, and adaptable communication abilities across all organizational levels.
Additionally, we are looking for a person who has a talent for presenting information, whether simple or complex, in an engaging manner and can understand and align with the interests of various stakeholders.
Proficiency in both Danish and English ensures effective communication in a multinational setting. About the department
As part of the ergo team, you will work in a department of highly engaged experts within health and safety to drive improvements across Novo Nordisk globally. The job is located in the Novo Nordisk Health team, one of three units in the global Novo Nordisk Health and Safety department, a global staff function located in HQ Bagsværd, DK. The department is Novo Nordisk's Centre of Excellence in the field of global health and safety with around 45 dedicated colleagues in mental and physical well-being, safety, ergonomics, technical working environment, and health promotion. Our role is to safeguard employee health and well-being throughout the global organization, enabling the line of business to realize Novo Nordisk’s ambitions by providing easy-to-use guidance, tools, and data.
