The position
The Associate Manager will be responsible for a team of competent and dedicated Job Function Coordinators, who ensure stability and quality with the training administration by providing support and guidance to the Line of Business. The primary focus of this role is on our Learning Management System, supporting tools, and training administration process. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a modern training set-up by utilizing new technologies and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the team according to the Novo Nordisk Way
• Provide direction on how to further standardize and automate the global training administration
• Ensure that effective standards and processes are established and maintained, both internally, within the Global Business Service Center, and in the Line of Business
• Manage a global network of stakeholders and customers and help identify business challenges and needs
• Collaborate closely with the Training Services & Automation Management Team to achieve the department's overall strategies and targets
• Promote a positive and engaging work culture within the department and facilitate the ongoing development of both the team and individual employees The team consists of highly competent and experienced employees. Some have been working with training administration for a number of years and some are completely new to Novo Nordisk. Many of our manual transactions are handled by our colleagues in the Global Business Service center in India, and the team in Denmark has a close collaboration with the team in India. Together with the manager in India, you will ensure alignment across our deliverables.

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of succeeding in driving a global support function and hands-on experience in driving operational excellence initiatives.
Additionally, to succeed in the role you have:
• Some years of experience in people management, which has allowed you to build your leadership and communication skills
• Thorough understanding of how to drive an efficient support set-up
• Strong change management and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with LEAN, process standardization and optimization
• Previous experience in a global and corporate environment
• Full professional proficiency in both English and Danish, as well as a relevant academic degree In this role, it is crucial to be truly passionate and driven by the ambition of delivering world-class support to our internal customers. As a person, you have excellent communication and leadership skills which enable you to build effective working relationships and influence others when needed. We are looking for someone who can understand business needs and connect the strategy accordingly.

About the department The position is in the department called Training Services & Automation, which is anchored in the Global People & Organization (HR), in the department of Training & Capability Building, consisting of 100+ training professionals. Our department is responsible for delivering training administration across Novo Nordisk and ensuring a standardized, data-driven, and automated set-up. We have 26 dedicated people in our department, and we provide support and guidance on training administration. We develop and implement global training administration processes and tools, and we work with data and analytics to improve training across the company. You will experience that we strive for operational excellence and set ambitious targets and we care for an environment where everybody helps each other to succeed, grow, and develop. The Associate Manager will be part of the Training Services & Automation management team, as well as the extended Leadership team in Training & Capability Building consisting of 10 managers.
