The Position
As a QA Professional in Packaging Materials, you will be responsible for printed packaging materials which include cartons, leaflets, booklets, labels etc.
You will join a team of dedicated and competent colleagues responsible for QA oversight, participating in supplier audits, QA to our Sourcing Operation (SoOp) activities, QA of materials within a variety of categories and participating in development projects.
Main responsibilities will include:
• Selecting and approving new suppliers for printed packaging materials
• Setting the correct requirements
• Negotiating and maintaining quality related contracts with suppliers
• Participating in quality audit at suppliers
• Involvement in development projects of new packaging materials
To achieve this, you will be working closely together with quality control, regulatory affairs, purchasing/logistics, warehouse, consuming departments, development departments, strategic sourcing, and suppliers, having the unique opportunity to interact with a vast stakeholder landscape.
You will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of incoming materials, and involvement in investigations into quality issues using LEAN tools is part of our daily work.
The role is currently based in Bagsværd but will be moving to Taastrup in the end of 2024 (our new offices will be located 400 meters from Høje Taastrup Station).
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who is positive, flexible, and persistent, and enjoys working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
To succeed in this role, you:
• Hold a Master´s degree within pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, or a related discipline
• Have a few years of experience in QA roles withing the pharmaceutical industry
• Have experience within sourcing area such as building relationships with new suppliers, handling negotiations, visiting suppliers’ sites etc.
• Demonstrate excellent collaboration and communication skills to cooperate broadly with many stakeholders
• Are fluent in English
Knowledge of packaging materials in scope and relevant production processes will be seen as an advantage.
We are also open to engage with newly graduate candidates that are proactive, take initiative, and are not afraid to challenge the status quo. You should be able to make clear prioritizations and take responsibility for customer requirements in many situations.
