About the department In Digital, Data & IT Product Supply (DD&IT PS), Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) Quality Control (QC) IT we support app. 270 Colleagues in BRD Quality Control (QC) based in Gentofte, Hilleroed and Kalundborg. They support the biotech production with a selection of chemical and microbiological analysis of product samples, crucial for always making sure the product is in high quality and ready for release to patients. We bring value to patients by delivering timely and reliable results that keeps production in control. We drive change by always looking for improvements and innovation within our processes - testing and implementing 4.0 technology to make the process even smoother and faster for the benefit of the patients. The position The position is based in Gentofte and DD&IT PS, BRD QC IT team is responsible for supporting all local QC and manufactory development laboratories IT systems and computerized equipment. You will be responsible for driving and implementing various optimization projects related to IT ensuring continuous improvement for all our systems. In total the team is responsible for around 70 local IT systems/computerized laboratory equipment. Your main tasks will be related to system management of the laboratory systems, this includes driving validation and qualification activities, writing and reviewing compliance documents, giving inputs to deviations and change requests, participating in audits and inspections. You will also be responsible for cloud-service roll-out for our local systems. As the team support laboratories throughout BRD you will interact with many users and stakeholders having different maturity levels concerning IT. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have:
  • Laboratory IT Technician (LabTech) or a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Science, Engineering
  • It will be an advantage if you have technical IT experience from a laboratory environment (QC, QA, R&D or similar), experience from the pharmaceutical industry but not a requirement
  • Experience with ensuring IT compliance, safety and with working with critical systems within a highly regulated environment, experience from the pharmaceutical industry in an advantage
  • Full professional proficiency in English and willingness to learn Danish

You are proactive and innovative thinking as it is required in relation to both problem solving and collaborative relationships. You do not compromise on quality or business ethics.
