Do you like to push the boundaries of production technology, and do you want to play a key role in the future of aseptic production (AP) in Novo Nordisk A/S? Does close international collaboration and networking across boundaries come naturally to you and are you familiar with the different aspects of AP processes? Then you could be our new Director we are looking for to head up our Tech Standard department based in Gentofte!
The position
As the Director for Tech Standards, you will have the opportunity to lead a department responsible for identifying and defining the needed technology standards needed for our new AP facilities across the world!
This will involve being responsible for: Crucial decisions that will ensure the selection and development of the ideal production processes. Engaging and working closely together with your international colleagues, capture knowledge and experience in the company and combine this input with state-of-the-art AP technology.
The activities in the department include the entire value stream in a pharmaceutical filling facility ranging from the handling of incoming raw materials and components, wash and sterilisation, filling, and the final inspection of the products. Your teams’ responsibilities range from the early definition of requirements to the final qualifying tests and run in of the facilities.
Your ability to strictly define the needed projects in combination with your ability to develop your team and succeed in collaborate across boundaries will be of utmost importance to succeed.
Qualifications
Your experiences include: Hold a relevant academic degree with 10+ years of leadership/ managerial experience. Successfully leading large and complex projects globally. Demonstrated you can shape and execute on a strategy in a complex international environment. Extensive stakeholder management experience with highly developed networking skills. Technical pharmaceutical manufacturing process experience. It is advantageous if this is within AP. In terms of personal characteristics, you are known for being a natural leader, an empathic team player with a can-do attitude and display resilience and determination when things do not go to plan.
Furthermore, you have a very strong ability to build relations on all levels in an international organisation and given the nature of your new department we expect you have a good process understanding and a systematic and structured mindset. For this position, you will be required to communicate fluently in spoken and written English

You will be joining AP Expansions, which stands for expansions of Aseptic Production (AP). The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees.
AP Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and built all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our aseptic production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. AP Expansions has a clearly global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
