The position
As our Building Utilities & Energy Solutions Professional, you'll be an essential member of the team responsible for designing and constructing state-of-the-art AP facilities on a global scale. With an extensive list of stakeholders including process track leads, Quality experts, Novo Nordisk sites, and engineering partners within the AP Expansion program, you'll be able to make a significant impact on our company's success.
The key tasks will be: Ensuring that key functionalities and GMP requirements are maintained in the structure of our new facilities. Finding sustainable solutions for material choices regarding passive fire protection and a low environmental impact. Working with Novo Nordisk sites on design of exterior façade to ensure that green solutions are being integrated into to the exterior design and is adopted to the local conditions. Working with our suppliers to ensure that Novo Nordisk’s new AP facilities is being design and build according to Novo Nordisk circular for zero (C4Z), and is obtaining the highest possible environmental rating according, e.g., LEED certification. Key player in design reviews and vendor oversight during the design, build and test phases

Qualifications To be successful in this role you have: An academical degree within civil engineering, architecture, or similar education. +3 years of work experience within production facilities or related complex industrial buildings. Significant experience from project work including introduction of new technologies. An excellent command of verbal and written English.

You thrive in a changing and dynamic environment and able to demonstrate attention to detail and are structured when it comes to problem-solving. Furthermore, you have good stakeholder management and the ability to communicate complex content in a simple way and build relations on a global scale.
About the department
Engineering & Facility is a department in the newly created area of AP Expansions. You will be joining AP Expansions, which stands for expansions of Aseptic Production (AP). The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees. AP Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and built all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our aseptic production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. AP Expansions has a clearly global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
