Are you a strong Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully navigating people and projects to the required destination? Would you like to work in a project department, were we build warehouses for the future, including newest technologies, sustainability designs, and interdisciplinary cooperation across Novo Nordisk functions? Then you might be our new Senior Project Manager. The position As senior project manager in Warehouse Expansion, you will be responsible for the automation work package in our expansion projects. This includes fully automated warehouse systems with hardware and software needs. You will ensure that the automation track is clearly defined, so roles and responsibilities between contractors, vendors, Novo Nordisk departments and other stakeholders are planned and communicated. You report directly to the equipment responsible manager in the department and will work in a project environment, were we have daily close coordination with our colleagues. Qualifications A relevant degree within engineering or similar Strong competences within project management It is an advantage if you have worked with automation projects You are fluent in English (written and verbal) As a person, you can build good relations to your stakeholders. You are systematic and a clear communicator. You thrive working autonomous and still in close cooperation with our colleagues. In busy periods, you are the one who keeps the overview and set direction for your project. About the department We are part of Sourcing Operations, who manages the global inbound supply chain to deliver packaging and raw materials to production and clinical trials. Warehouse Expansion is a department, focusing on implementing new internal warehouse capacity to meet future demand. We are newly established, and our job is to expand the existing warehouse in Hillerød and build a new green field warehouse in Kalundborg. Our department is currently located in Hillerød, but over time our activities in Kalundborg will increase and the department will in 2024 be present in both Hillerød and Kalundborg. This position will mainly have activities in Kalundborg and therefore located here, with frequent meetings in Hillerød. You will be a part of a new team which within short time will consist of 12 dedicated colleagues, a team who takes care of each other and support each other. As an employee in the project team, you will be able to take up a lot of responsibility and gain support to develop. You can expect to grow both on a personal and professional level.
