Do you want to be part of and lead the way for the future active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) production within the Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD)? If you have a strong technical project manager background, or you might be at the start of your career this is your chance to be on the project as our new Senior Project manager Facility. The success of your work will be vital to the success of our area and Novo Nordisk. The position As the Senior Project Manager/associated WPO you will be part of driving the facility package for a major API capacity expansion project within the BRD area. Your work is guided by our purpose in Product Supply: To be on the forefront of technology of manufacturing and aiming at continuous, automated, and state of the art facility. You will be coordinating with the work package owner for the facility package. In this position, it involved high stakeholder collaboration cross functionally and can expect to work closely with the other packages in the project and staff functions. Qualifications To succeed in this role, we expect you to have: A relevant academic background such as Engineering within construction, Mechanical or similar. A solid leadership background: this could be within project management of larger complex projects. GMP relevant Knowledge. Preferably experience within construction in the Pharma or related industries. Experience navigating a complex stakeholder landscape. Fluency in oral and written English. On a personal level you possess great interpersonal skills complimented with interest in leadership or people management experience. You are good at establishing relations, communicating clearly at all levels and have a high integrity and robustness that enable you to integrate different views in your decision-making process. Having said that, we expect that you can stay firm when needed in the context of a dynamic environment. About the department
BRD API Denmark is in Gentofte, Hillerød and Kalundborg. This is where the active ingredients, going into all our life-saving biotech products, are made by app. 500 committed colleagues. We manufacture through complex chemical and biotechnological processes requiring a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and including cultivation, recovery, purification, and freeze-drying. We are producing at full speed in existing facilities, while building and ramping up new state of the art additions to keep up with demand and new Novo Nordisk products. We bring value to patients by delivering the purest possible high-quality API made in compliance with GMP. We drive change by always looking for improvements within our processes, but also in the way we work together to make our products reach as many patients as possible.
