About the department You will be joining AP Expansions, which stands for expansions of Aseptic Production (AP). The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees.
AP Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and built all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our aseptic production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. AP Expansions has a clearly global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
The position As Maintenance engineer in AP Expansions, Tech & Innovation, you will be anchored in the Engineering & Facility department. Together with other team members you will define the tactical and operational path for maintaining Novo Nordisk’s new AP facilities. Areas of responsibility will include: • Translating technology and equipment decisions into operational procedures for proper maintaining a GMP facility
• Building a maintenance strategy before the facility is built
• Coordinating execution of strategy with several Novo Nordisk sites worldwide
• Drive elements of the quality, digitalization, and connectivity journey together with the technical work packages, QA and other key stakeholders
• Collaborate with other functions to secure adequate implementation of strategy
• Onsite support to sites during validation phases. Travels to several Novo Nordisk sites should be expected. In addition, position involves a high degree of stakeholder management within the organization, such as process SMEs, technology teams, IT/OT and QA across the program, as well as external partners. Qualifications To be successful in this position, you need to have: • An academic degree within engineering, life science or similar
• 3 years of experience from an operations or maintenance organization, preferably from a pharmaceutical production facility
• Solid understanding of GMP requirements
• Experience from engineering projects is great advantage
• Ability to communicate complex content in a simple way
• Fluency in written and spoken English
