We are looking for a Director for API production to join our team in Gentofte. The position
As a director, you will report to the Corporate Vice President (CVP) of API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) DK and be part of the management group. Your most important tasks will be to drive and secure a high-quality output and stable production while supporting the strategic development of API DK.
Your main responsibilities will be focused on:
• Producing, releasing, and delivering API products according to delivery agreement
• Setting direction and develop the organization and the people
• Managing the operational and investment budget, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
• Ensuring that operational and investment projects and costs are kept and followed closely
• Driving a safe and engaging working environment
• Developing and optimizing strategic planning to secure people, production, quality and compliance
In addition to this, you will manage and optimize the department, ensuring proper allocation of resource and competences to meet business targets. As a strategic leader, you are responsible for creating both long and short-term business strategies that align with the company's overall goals. You must also ensure that your team is compliant with GMP regulations and ready for inspections. Qualifications
To be a competitive candidate, you should have:
• A MSc within a relevant field (Life Science, Engineering, etc)
• Extensive experience in leading and developing people in pharmaceutical production
• Experience in change management and stakeholder management when it comes to implementing strategy and stimulate the right culture
• Experience in budget management and financial planning
• Ability to drive change and continuous improvement
On a personal level, you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and you are inspiring and motivating, a strong innovator, that strives for continuous improvement, and you have a drive to set and reach ambitious targets on new ground. As you have a structured approach to your work, you can juggle several tasks while prioritising your efforts optimally by keeping the bigger picture in mind. About the department
You will be part of a dynamic business area which produce API for patients across the world. Your main task is to produce Growth Hormone and Glucagen API to serve patients around the world. As the Director you will be leading an organization with three departments – each led by a Senior manager. The departments support each other in a close collaboration in the daily work.
