The Position As a Process Scientist, you will be working with quality and improvement, in a production area that is the heart of Novo Nordisk insulin production. This position requires a high degree of independence, with a desire to support and improve the processes and equipment in our media production. It also entails being curious about how other teams and departments work, sharing knowledge with the team, while collaborating with stakeholders in other teams and departments. Your main focus will be on:
• Having professional responsibility for the processes and equipment in the media production together with the team.
• Supporting stakeholders by providing expertise and solutions to secure stabile production with the right quality.
• Providing proactive support to the media production, ensuring the daily operations and equipment always perform with highest output in the right quality.
• Contributing to ongoing optimization of existing processes and equipment.
• Challenging existing processes in a respectful and constructive way. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you:
• Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in natural science or engineering. Newly graduates are welcome to apply.
• Have preferably 1+ year of experience.
• Have experience with GMP, a hands-on experience with sterilisation processes and sterilisation equipment (Autoclaves).
• Have technical flair and mechanical knowledge on small production equipment.
• Are fluent in English and have a good knowledge of Danish. We are also willing to consider candidates who would like to learn Danish.
On a personal level, you have a strong Quality mindset and a sharp eye for detail. With positive mindset and openness to learning, you easily take on new tasks. The ability to coordinate and find simple solutions, while taking care of quality, cost, environment, and delivery are key to thrive in this role. You are a very adaptable person, who is a strong communicator and can easily build relationships across teams and departments. While appearing extroverted, you stay calm and keep the overview in every situation. About the department The department M2 QC Laboratory is in Kalundborg and supports several productions. In addition to performing chemical, biochemical and microbiological analysis, we also have our own equipment team and media production. In our media production we produce media for laboratory analysis and production in Product Supply Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (PS API). We are approx. 140 highly dedicated employees, divided into 6 teams and we are looking for a process scientist, in our media production team. The team consist of highly competent and experienced members. In the team we have a production, handling everything from raw materials for formulation, and formulation, to batch release and shipping media to our customers.
