Would you like to work as Process Responsible Engineer and bringing innovative medical device concepts from development to launch readiness? Does your mindset include an unrelenting focus on quality in everything you do, and are you familiar with injection moulding? Then you may be the perfect match for our Moulding Test Centre! The position As a Moulding Process Responsible Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our moulding test centre is fit for the future and ready to serve our customers by keeping injection moulding machines and peripheral equipment maintained and in validated state. Secondly you will support verification and validation of moulding tools and components. You will work closely together with our skilled technicians performing tests and our stakeholders requesting the tests. In a regulated GMP environment documentation of high quality is key but you should be able to balance the different requirements needed for explorative tests and production to clinical studies. Together with the team’s moulding tool responsible you should also support tests, validation, and documentation of moulding tools and on a longer perspective act as substitute. You will play an active role in an everchanging environment where assignments and priorities often change and in cooperation with colleagues in- and outside the department you will be responsible for adapting the quality and compliance level. About the department The unit Device Manufacturing Department (DMD) is a project organisation comprising more than 300 engaged employees who all strive to achieve becoming the best manufacturing development partner of medical devices. Our dedication is to build superior quality into robust device products suitable for high volume production. DMD Pilot Operations is a flexible development and test facility that supports device development from early R&D development stages into a stable production to market. In the Moulding Test Centre our focus is to perform explorative tests and optimize and validate injection moulding processes. We service our stakeholders by testing machines, moulds, mould concepts, materials etc. ensuring reproducibility and the optimum of technical, economic, and environmentally sustainable solutions. You will be part of the Moulding team consisting of 10 engaged and dedicated colleagues, where you will be responsible for the moulding machines and peripheral equipment in our injection moulding test centre. Qualifications You hold a relevant degree within engineering with knowledge and understanding of the injection moulding process. You have knowledge and experience within documentation of quality and compliance in relation to GMP. On a personal level, you are known for dedicating yourself to work proactively to solve the tasks at hand. You face challenges with a positive and open mind-set to find the best solution in collaboration with our stakeholders. Furthermore, you can make independent decisions and navigate in a complex regulatory environment. You are fluent in Danish and English (both written and oral) and have excellent communication skills as the job requires you to interact with many different stakeholders.
