The Position As an Associate Manager for Material Handling, you will play a key role in the department as a leader of a team of around 30 highly committed and professional Operators and Skilled Workers. The team's responsibility is to ensure optimal operation of the automated material handling equipment, process improvements, a high focus on quality and delivery to our production lines. You will be part of the management group, where you can look forward to working with both long-term strategic directions, but also with daily routines, and prioritization of operations and projects. Your main tasks will be to:
  • Drive performance by optimizations and Lean tools.

  • Develop the team and ensure an engaged and motivated employees

  • Ensure optimal staffing for 24/7 operations throughout the year.

  • A relevant bachelor or master’s degree in engineering or similar.

  • Solid experience with automation or supply chain.

  • Managerial experience from similar jobs.

  • Experience with the production and/or development of pharmaceuticals and GMP knowledge is an advantage.

  • Good communication skills in Danish and English.

    • This position requires equal parts professional and managerial focus, including the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment. In addition, the job requires a high degree of structure and systematicity to have a continuous overview of the production, the tasks, and the team. Knowledge of cLEAN® will therefore be preferable. As a leader, you naturally motivate and involve your employees through your great commitment. You radiate calmness and overview, which means that your many stakeholders perceive you as professional and trustworthy and that the employees want to follow you. About the Department The Warehouse and Material Handling department in IFP Hillerød is an ambitious and business-critical area with approx. 110 employees and 5 managers. The site is running is a Lean fashion and with just-in-time deliveries, relying on highly automated material handling equipment and systems. The department is responsible for all materials, entering and exit our FP Production lines.
