Our Injectable Finished Products department is seeking a Shutdown Manager to manage all operational shutdown activities at our manufacturing site in Hillerød, Denmark. Don’t hesitate and apply today!The PositionYou’ll be our specialised project manager, who we call our Shutdown Manager, whose main tasks include planning, coordination, and execution of the shutdowns at our production site with great scope of responsibility, involving+100 activities reporting into the shutdown.
Our production site has a Finished Product (FP) area with 9 productions lines and a fully automated material handling system, with a joint two-week-long summer shutdown, while our aseptic area (AP) has a three-week summer shutdown. There’re also smaller, 24-hour shutdowns scattered throughout the year, during which your aim would be to ensure the activities are aligned and do not conflict with one another.
The stakeholder landscape is large and diverse, involving activity owners, project managers, site management, system, and process owners, logistic, specialists as well as vendors - all having different needs and inputs for shutdown – and it will be your task to unite them in time and space.
Your responsibilities would include:Aligning the scope and conditions with all activities following our shutdown process with focus on prioritization and dependencies Planning and aligning with focus on involvement and stakeholder satisfaction Having a strategic overview of all shutdowns, which will involve interacting, planning and reporting to the site senior management Working strategically in-between shutdowns with shutdown timing and durations and will involve you acting as a trusted partner for the site management Being process responsible for the shutdown standard, continuous work and optimization of how the shutdown planning and execution are run. Not two shutdowns that are the same, new challenges will appear during every shutdown and you are expected to come up with constructive solutions to unprecedented situations to save valuable production time.QualificationsWe’re searching for a pro-active and driven self-starter who has the ability to build strong professional relationships and thrives when driving tasks independently to the finish line. Our idea candidate is not afraid of new challenges and is able to set the scene and control the progress. We expect our candidate to be present during summer and winter shutdowns.
Apart from that, you:Have a structured approach to your work and ability to prioritize while juggling a variety of tasks Hold a Bachelor's Degree or have completed any higher academic education level within engineering, pharmaceutical or other relevant field Have a few years of working experience, including good experience within Project Management and other related roles that involved coordinating tasks and processing across different functions Are a great communicator who has experience working cross-functionally and building relations with stakeholders at all organisational levels Are fluent in both spoken and written English, while Danish will be considered as a great asset Experience from a GMP-regulated environment will be considered an asset. The role has similarities to a program manager, so that background will also fit.About the DepartmentYou will be reporting directly to the Senior Manager, head of the Project Management Office (PMO). Working closely together with our Project Portfolio Managers and our more than 35 project managers, we take on a project approach to shutdown management.
