Do you want to take part in ensuring pharmacopoeia compliance, development, implementation, and optimization of chromatographic methods ((U)HPLC, GC, LC-MS and IC) for raw materials and excipients used throughout the organisation? The position As a Chromatographic Senior Chemist, your primary tasks will include:
  • Validation/verification of chromatographic methods ((U)HPLC, LC-MS, GC and IC)
  • Project lead on timely implementation of pharmacopoeia changes as well as transfer of chromatographic methods to other Novo Nordisk sites
  • Quality Control (QC) support to deviations, out-of-specification results, and laboratory investigations
  • Qualification and implementation of new equipment to support the upgrade of the QC laboratory
  • Deviation handling, writing change requests and supporting the team’s 4 lab technicians in their daily work
    • As part of our department, you will also be involved in the various assignments we deliver to other parts of Novo Nordisk. This will give you a variety of challenges, and therefore strong collaboration with your colleagues is essential. You will be part of a team where ideas, problems and solutions are discussed in an open, positive, and forthcoming atmosphere. Qualifications To be successful in this role, we imagine you:
  • Hold a Master´s Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, or another relevant field within the natural science
  • Possess a strong practical and theoretical background within chromatographic methods (HPLC, LC-MS, GC and IC), including validation of methods
  • Have experience with pharmacopoeia compliance, GMP, ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Are fluent in English and Danish, both written and spoken
    • Additionally, it would be an advantage if you also have knowledge within systematic problem solving, LIMS and a good eye for processes and optimization. As a person, you enjoy working in project groups and have a high level of energy to drive yourself and your colleagues forward to deliver on milestones. You work in a structured manner and find solutions that are robust and will ensure the correct quality level. About the department You will join Material Manufacturing Development in Product Supply Sourcing Operations, located in Hillerød. We are responsible for development and implementation of complex materials (raw materials, excipients, Primary Packaging materials etc.) from development to production at all Novo Nordisk sites. You will join our Chromatographic support team, which is responsible for the implementation of chromatographic methods, coordination of analyses and registration for raw materials and excipients, at all Novo Nordisk sites. We cooperate with a variety of functions, including development, Warehouses, Quality Control and Quality Assurance as well as Novo Nordisk sites all over the world.
