Are you a seasoned digital designer ready to drive life-changing innovation? The Position As our new UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in the Design team, collaborating closely with our Digital Design Lead, UX Designers, User Researchers, Engineering colleagues, and the broader Digital Health network to create patient-facing solutions. Your key responsibilities include:
  • Designing and developing patient-facing digital solutions from initial concept through to developer handover, with a focus on user interface design.
  • Creating digital prototypes for informal assessments and formal user studies.
  • Developing and maintaining project design documentation.
  • Establishing and maintaining our design guidelines for digital products.
    • The role is based in our design studio in Hillerød, with a significant amount of time spent at our site in Søborg. Qualifications To be successful in this role, we expect you to:
  • Hold a bachelor’s or a master’s Degree in UI design, digital design, graphic design or related design discipline.
  • Have at least 5 years of proven design industry experience within in-house or consultancy teams, predominately with mobile app design.
  • Demonstrate a rich portfolio of work showcasing exceptional aesthetic sensitivity and design touch and products that have launched commercially.
  • Be familiar with digital design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
  • Have a proven track record of creating design documentation for development.
  • Be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
    • It would be considered as an advantage if you have:
  • Experience working in regulated industries, such as healthcare or financial services.
  • Proficiency in designing for both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation using tools like Adobe After Effects.
  • Experience with high-fidelity digital prototyping using Protopie or similar tools.
  • An eye for illustration.
    • As a designer, you are driven to craft solutions that embody simplicity, clarity and elegance. The little details matter to you, but you are always capable of keeping the bigger picture in sight. You are able embrace constructive feedback, and in turn give feedback on others’ work, whilst holding the flag high for the aesthetic quality of all deliverables. You are comfortable working at every stage of a design project: from envisioning early concepts through to crafting the detail of refined design solutions - all whilst balancing short term deliverables with larger scale strategic initiatives. As a person, you thrive in a busy environment that is constantly growing and evolving. You see design as a team effort and enjoy engaging and collaborating with many stakeholders spanning different departments such as commercial and technical teams. For you, regulations and design guidelines are perceived as welcome creative challenges. About The Department Novo Nordisk Design is part of the Delivery Solutions Innovation (DSI) area within Novo Nordisk Devices & Delivery Solutions, an organisation responsible for the development of human-centered solutions for medical self-treatment within all business areas of Novo Nordisk.
