The position As an Advanced Method Validation Engineer at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for validating and qualifying test equipment and overseeing the validation process. Additionally, you will develop testing competencies to enhance device development by optimizing existing test and measurement processes. You will conduct prototype testing using laboratory equipment and analysis methods, as well as review and approve requirements for testability and standards compliance.
  • Perform data analysis using applied statistics.
  • Author and edit department documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), validation documentation, and other equipment- and method-related documentation..
  • Take ownership of equipment-related activities, ensuring compliance and maintenance of measuring equipment.
  • Demonstrate expertise in design verification and development processes.
  • Coordinate test and measurement tasks in complex projects.
  • Share best practices across device-related areas.
    • Qualifications To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field with experience in method validation, equipment qualification, and test and measurement processes, or bachelor’s degree combined with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the sector.
  • Strong knowledge of applied statistics and data analysis.
  • Experience in authoring and reviewing validation documents.
  • Ability to take ownership of equipment-related activities and ensure compliance.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

About the department The Advanced Method Validation Engineer position is located at site Hillerødin Denmark. Our department is known for its independence, innovation, and proactive initiatives. We work independently to achieve targets agreed upon in Packaging and Verification Development (PVD). We are constantly seeking new process initiatives for development projects and new technologies. We also actively collaborate with external partners to stay competitive and up to date with the latest advancements in our field. We explore and develop scalable and sustainable packaging and delivery solutions. We verify and validate that delivery solutions meet requirements and fulfil the needs of the drug and users. By establishing and qualifying state of the art analytical equipment and test methods in our labs, we plan and execute tests to demonstrate that containers, packaging, and delivery solutions perform as intended.
