We're looking for an engineer to join our team in Hillerød and contribute to the most significant expansion project at Novo Nordisk. We welcome all levels of experience for this role. If you're passionate about helping to expand our Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) capacity for Biotech production and want to make a difference in the lives of people living with serious chronic and rare diseases, then this is the job for you!
The position
As an Engineer in the Chemical package, you'll work together with project team leaders and functional line representatives to design process lines for a new capacity expansion project. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the future API manufacturing processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing smaller projects within the main project
• Ensuring GMP and quality standards are met
• Reviewing and approving P&I diagrams
• Communicating and following up with engineering partners and suppliers
• Ensuring the new facilities in the factory are easy to maintain and operate.
As part of your job duties, you'll participate in supplier tests that may involve travel.
Qualifications
The ideal candidates should have the following qualifications:
• At least a bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Chemical, Mechanical or Process Engineering.
• Some experience with chemicals and stainless-steel materials such as vessels, pipes, valves, and instruments.
• Experience within production, preferably in the GMP regulated industry.
• Full proficiency in written and spoken English

Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, enabling you to interact effectively with stakeholders from different functions and parts of the organization. About the department Our team is working to expand the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) capacity of our Biotech production in Hillerød. You will become a part of one of the most significant expansion projects in – and when finished the facility will employ app. 340 colleagues. The highly automated facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products. It will expand our capacity for our portfolio of clinical late phase products to serve more people living with serious chronic diseases including rare diseases.
