Come and be part of our international team! The position As an Automation Engineer, you will secure the implementation of a DCS system and later be part of the maintenance organisation. We are implementing the DCS system 800xA from ABB in all our facilities. You will review documentation and be part of testing the solutions. You will work closely with our production area, our external partners, and with the different IT and automation teams across our entire organisation. Furthermore, you will help ensure that the DCS system is integrated with other systems, e.g. PLC, MES, PI Historian, and with several types of instruments. Your will be a project of great strategic importance to Novo Nordisk with high visibility and support from Senior Management. At the same time, you will have a foot inside Novo Nordisk’s IT organisation which supports all major expansion projects as well as operations. You will be located in Kalundborg, in close proximity of the manufacturing sites. As a lot of our collaboration partners work around Copenhagen, it is expected that you will also work in those locations. Qualifications
We are looking for an ambitious and proactive colleague who can contribute to the team both professionally and personally. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in most of the following skills and experiences: You hold an M.Sc. or B.Sc. within IT, Business Administration Engineering or have other relevant experience from recent job(s) 3-5 years of professional experience within IT; either from operations and maintenance, or from project participation Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and requirements Experience within the Pharma industry or other highly regulated industry (GMP) preferred Knowledge of the DCS system 800xA from ABB will be an advantage but not a requirement Ideally, you have worked closely with vendors before As a person, you are energised by taking responsibility for automation. You are structured in your way of working and open to share information with your colleagues, work together as a team, and drive for joint results. You thrive in a multicultural environment and have good communication skills written and orally in English. About the department
