Do you want to specialize in a complex Oracle database structure for our Local MES system? Are you motivated by complex problems, and do you like to analyze and challenge the right solution? The Position First, you will acquire in-depth knowledge of the backend of our MES system (LMES – Local Manufacturing Execution System) and the belonging applications and equipment, such as scanners and weights. You will participate in the development and installation of patch releases, with a focus on the technical solution. This will take place together with vendors and in collaboration with users and your colleagues. You will support the daily operation and troubleshoot issues together with relevant stakeholders. Some issues will require data extraction from our Oracle Database. We always strive for improvements and use LEAN tools to challenge the status quo. We also offer advice and consultancy to the IT- and Automation supporters and coordinate activities with different stakeholders such as maintenance. The position requires physical presence at our site in Kalundborg in Denmark. Qualifications Experience with Oracle database, PL/SQL, and MES systems Great interest and experience in working with- and developing skills in automation systems (MES, DCS, PLC) Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library – Service Now (ITIL) would be considered a strong advantage Experience in a similar position or as Computer Technician, Computer Scientist, IT technologist, or IT Supporter Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written, Danish is an advantage. As a person, you have an appetite for acquiring new knowledge. You have a great understanding of how to convey complex information to varying audiences and thereby ensuring stakeholder buy-in. You have a strong quality mindset and analytical approach to challenges. About the Department From day one you receive an onboarding program for introduction to API production in Kalundborg and afterward, we will ensure a complete introduction to your new department and a plan for training in your new position. You will join the IT Team in the Business Support department, Purification Plant (PP) in Kalundborg, Denmark. We are approximately 75 colleagues in Business Support and support the plant with Environment, training and document handling, Supply chain, Finance, Project office and IT. You will become a part of a team with an exciting workweek with lots of challenges and good colleagues with a high level of competencies. The IT team consists of 14 employees who run and maintain the production IT systems. The production IT systems consist of a PCS system (SattLine), BMS system, and a MES/MOM system (LMES – Local Manufacturing Execution System) as well as several PLC systems. We also maintain our IT platform for our automation systems. The team is organized by subjects: System management, IT support, PLC support and. We cooperate closely with the automation support team, which performs the daily support and maintenance tasks related to the IT systems.
