PS API Investment Projects I QA is responsible for quality assurance of production facility investment projects in Kalundborg. The facilities are for pharmaceutical production and must be designed in accordance with cGMP requirements (current Good Manufacturing Practice).
The department counts 24 employees and is part of a fast-growing quality organisation responsible for the Investment Portfolio across Novo Nordisk. The position
In this role, you will be heading up a department with the aim of providing QA support to API Expansion projects in Kalundborg. You will be setting the strategy for the department, defining the organisation and employee competencies to drive high performance and effectiveness within QA. You hold the leadership responsibility of a department performing quality assurance of investment projects resulting in a facility producing some of our new products within the production disciplines: Quality assurance of design and construction of fermentation process, purification processes, facilities, process and utility equipment and automation/IT including industry 4.0 technologies.
You will head up a competent quality department and will be leading and developing the employees through a high level of coaching, empowerment, and delegation. You will have a dual role as people manager of your direct reports and as QA responsible, performing quality assurance of the investment project in close collaboration with the project team. This means that you must lead your department and drive a quality agenda through the project management team. To do this, a formal role as member of steering groups and project management teams must be expected. You will be part of the management team in Investment Portfolio QA, and you will report directly to the Corporate Vice President of Investment Portfolio QA.
Qualifications
To be qualified for the position, you must demonstrate solid leadership experience of either people directly or as leader of leaders. We are looking for a person with excellent people management skills and the ability to oversee large and complex activities. You need to have great communication skills and experience in building relations with stakeholders cross functionally and globally.
Moreover, to be successful in this position, you have:
• An academic degree within science or equivalent
• Experience from pharmaceutical production or quality assurance thereof
• Experience from project management or execution
• Excellent communication skills
• English proficiency (verbal and written).
