The position
The team bears a significant responsibility of upholding our health and safety standards, therefore we seek an experienced Health and Safety Supporter to spearhead and closely collaborate on activities with our HS organization. This is a new role, which will evolve with time, giving you an opportunity to shape it. You will work closely together with our IM1 HS Partner to reinforce health and safety protocols across projects and daily operations, with a focus on adhering to ISO45001 regulations. You will be involved in activities related to: Compliance with the Danish legislation, the Novo Nordisk HS Management programme and ISO45001 Facilitating support between project owners and production facilities Assisting teams and managers to maintain our license to operate Providing guidance on process confirmation and setting direction for quality according to our standards Participating in the investigation of incidents. This position presents an excellent opportunity for you to contribute to shaping the future of IM1 and to drive operational excellence from a health and safety standpoint. Qualifications
This role is open to candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences, as long as they exhibit a health and safety mindset. It is also required that you are fluent in English and able to communicate in Danish. It would be an asset if you: Have experience with HS from an international company with high standards You have played a key role in advising managers and colleagues about keeping, maintaining and developing a healthy and safe environment. Are a certified work environment coordinator (OHS training). Either have the educational background or experience from the healthcare system or other relevant industries/organisations. We expect our new colleague to have a structured approach to planning and execution. You are an outgoing person with a strong personal drive and dedication to speak up with inputs for improvements. Above all, you are persistent, never giving up in the face of challenges. You are a confident critical thinker who is unafraid to advocate for change and challenge individuals at all levels of the organization. About the department
Insulin Manufacturing 1 (IM1) is the world’s largest insulin production facility. In IM1 Maintenance we ensure the maintenance of equipment and the facility management in our building. Additionally, our department provides technical support for projects. We are organized in five Maintenance Teams: Build & Facility Team, Utility & Solvent Team, Purification Team, a Fermentation & Recovery Team, Development Team, and Permit Office Team.
