The position As our new Data Engineer, you will be taking the lead with a data web server that gathers information from all equipment within the factory! This will involve maintaining and iteratively improve existing data-driven solutions, utilising enterprise tools and other components that make up our data ecosystem and driving tasks and solutions with a focus on maintenance and updating new features of the system.
Other responsibilities include: Supporting data consumers with building features, data visualizations and generating reports for critical processes. Creating data pipelines using SQL based on stakeholders use cases and creating new features based on users’ requests. Maintaining and improving existing web solution in ASP .net. Offering support and developing existing cloud base solution. You will be collaborating with stakeholders cross functionally to communicate complex technical matters, evaluate issues, and develop and drive solutions that are both creative and effective for the organisation. Qualifications A degree within the field of Engineering, Computer Science, Biotechnology etc with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms. Strong programming skills, preferably in C#, ASP.NET and experience with SQL and databases. Familiarity with various cloud services for storage, data ingestion, data transformation and (serverless) application development. We use both AWS and Azure. An interest in cultural frameworks like Agile and DevOps. Preferably experience or knowledge working with tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Alteryx. Great numerical and analytical skills. On a personal level, you see yourself as being self-driven, independent and a fast learner with a ‘can do’ outlook. Furthermore, you are solution and service-oriented focused and can use great communication skills to build relations with colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation About the department

Our new Digitalization and Innovation team of data scientists and engineers that is dedicated to improving and visualize production data across our production and drive Industry 4.0 solutions from idea to implementation. You will join a growing, diverse, and inclusive team that is working with the most awesome projects from our production complex. Finished Products site Kalundborg is part of Biotech & Rare Disease. At our site in Kalundborg, we are more than 650 colleagues responsible for transforming the API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) into the finished medicine for people living with serious chronic diseases. We work with advanced processes such as formulation, filling, freeze-drying in a sterile environment. We bring value to our patients by delivering high-quality products in accordance with Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) in a timely and cost-effective manner as we constantly optimise our processes and invest in the latest technology. Working at Novo Nordisk Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) is part of Novo Nordisk Product Supply, which is a global production network at the forefront of technology and quality production of pharmaceutical products.
