The Position As a Utility Supporter, you will be responsible for Waste systems in a manufacturing facility construction project. The main principle will be to implement the best design standards from other existing facilities. You can look forward to:
• writing specifications, reviewing specifications and designs
• participating in the establishment of a competent user organization, integration with engineering partners and cooperation with existing production areas
• choosing suppliers and performing ongoing follow-up with these from start to finish
• performing structural checks of the constructions
• doing follow ups and keeping track of changes Additional responsibilities will include ensuring installation of equipment, providing commissioning and qualification, as well as development of Standard Operating Procedures (SAP), and ensuring maintenance training when needed.
You will also need to assess any project risks and develop standards to ensure structure and transparency.
Qualifications
The qualifications we value include:
• a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar. It is a plus if you have a degree in Technology Management and Marine Engineering (Maskinmester). Skilled technicians are invited to apply
• experience with clean & black utility systems as Water Systems such as Potable, purified and Process Water, Waste Systems, Process Air and cooling systems
• knowledge of cooling liquids, steam, compressed air, vacuum and oxygen is a plus
• understanding of technical documents such as URS, SAT, FAT, validation protocols and complicated product documentation
• fluency in written and oral English As a person, you enjoy close teamwork, and are motivated by others. You like working in a multicultural environment that requires independence to make decisions. About the department API Project Utility is a team of Engineers with responsibility for Clean and Black Utility in a manufacturing facility construction project. Currently consists of 11 engineers and 3 Project Managers who are working closely with other disciplines in the construction project.
