We are looking for new colleagues who have experience with or a strong interest within IT System Management of SCADA solutions, Manufacturing IT systems and equipment. The position As our new IT System Manager in either the IT&OT Operations team or in our project team, you will play a key role influencing our current, as well as our future, production facilities with robust solutions within IT systems and solutions. You will solve your tasks independently as well as in collaboration with professionals with various backgrounds within academics and technical expertise. As part of the IT&OT Operations team, no days will be the same, as you collaborate with your colleagues to ensure robust productions facilities which in turn produce a range of different products within resins and enzymes, as well as a packaging facility. If you become part of the project team, a key part of the position will be your involvement in a large project to establish a new manufacturing facility, aimed at handling the increased demand from Novo Nordisk A/S. You will have a strong voice in the design and draw on your current extensive experience. You will work closely with process-, engineering-, and manufacturing stakeholders to assess requirements, design, draw up documentation and test the automation solutions of our future facility. We work with SCADA System Platform from AVEVA (formerly known as Wonderware) and predominantly Siemens PLCs. Should you not have these competences already, we will provide you with training in these technologies. Prior experience with System Platform is therefore not required, though it will be considered a great advantage. Your core task is to ensure compliance for the IT and OT solutions (systems and equipment). As part of the project, you will develop and later update system design documents (e.g., Functional Specification, Design Specification), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and guidelines for the system operational processes. Once the facility is operational, you will work with Life Cycle Management and optimisation projects. Qualifications The ideal candidate for this position has:
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working as a System Manager for SCADA systems or similar complex systems or experience with implementing automation solutions as an automation engineer, working with validation documentation.
  • A strong GMP mindset
  • Strong project participation skills
  • A bachelors or Master’s Degree in automation, robotics, or IT related fields or a strong technical background, both combined with several years of experience within one or more IT or automation disciplines
  • Is fluent in technical English and preferably have the ability to speak or at least is willing to learn Danish.

You communicate effectively while securing adherence to technical quality standards. You can work independently and still be an excellent teammate. You are open minded and happy to meet new people as part of participating in project / cross-functional teams. About the department If you apply for the operations of current facilities, you will become part of our IT&OT Operations team, working side by side with experienced colleagues from across the organisation who know the processes and the opportunities for optimisation. If you become part of the large facility project, then you will be part of a newly established project organisation. You will still be affiliated with our IT&OT department, where you will be able to draw on the experiences of experienced employees and people managers within your field.
