The position This internship is an excellent opportunity to join our team for someone who is willing to deep-dive and learn about the job of a Business Analyst in our industry. You will be working in close collaboration with our Business Analysts and Product Managers, supporting us in different activities. Your main tasks will include: Creation of business cases to help shaping product pipeline and evaluating new business ideas Elaboration of product strategies in collaboration with product management Providing guidance for manufacturing strategy with related costs and commercial data Analyse market trends and gather market insights Practicalities: Internship period: 6 months (with the possibility for a 6-month extension) Working hours: 18-37 hours/week (with flexibility during exam periods) Start date: January 2024 You will have to be enrolled at a university through the entire internship period. The working hours are flexible enabling you to combine an internship with lectures at university, project work, or writing your Master’s thesis. Qualifications You are currently in the final year of your Master’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Marketing or similar. Additionally, you have an interest in business analytics, commercial strategy, forecasting, and financial modelling. To succeed in this role, you need to have: Analytical skills and knowledge about business analytics and commercial strategy High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Professional manner with a positive attitude in communicating with colleagues across organizational and international boundaries Great communication skills and you are good at stakeholder management Fluency in both spoken and written English Experience in extracting internal and external data and composing reports is an advantage. About the department You will get the opportunity to join and be part of our Strategic Marketing team within the Sales & Marketing department. In Strategic Marketing, we are responsible for setting the strategy for existing products, and setting the direction for new products to come, driving company growth, and ensuring a promising and robust pipeline. As our new intern, you will be working in our international team of 10 dedicated colleagues from diverse backgrounds. You will be working closely with Product Managers and Business Analysts, where together with R&D and Sales, we strive to identify trends and spot opportunities in the industry. We are responsible for setting the strategy for existing products, and setting the direction for new products to come, driving company growth, and ensuring a promising and robust pipeline.
