The position The Business Analyst will work closely with our Senior Business Analyst and an agile team in Research and Early Development (R&ED) to understand and analyze business needs that require digital solutions. Your key areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assisting in identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining the scope and objectives of initiatives

  • Researching business requirements and documenting the relationships between the components of the solution

  • Assisting in translating business requirements into software requirements

  • Suggesting recommendations for improvements to business processes that can be accomplished using digital solutions.

    • The Business Analyst is an individual contributor role. The successful candidate will partner very closely with technologies and stakeholders across R&ED. They will also have excellent communication and facilitation skills as they will need to interface with scientific and technical stakeholders. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have:
  • A BSc or MSc in business, natural science, or engineering

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a business or data analysis role. More experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

  • A passion for collaborating with different stakeholders to find solutions

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the department You will be a part of the Business Capability department in Data Management & Informatics (DMI) area, where we are responsible for providing scientific data and software products to support the global research and early development organisation at Novo Nordisk. Our work spans driving digitalisation of laboratories, enabling scientific data capture, creating harmonized data for analytics, and providing informatics tools. We enable disruptive innovation and data driven decision making across areas that include disease understanding, molecular design, portfolio management and external scouting.
