We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner to be a part of our MLOps team. The individual in this role will be responsible for understanding and driving the development of our MLOps platform and best practices, partnering with the business to run ML efficiently in a production environment. The successful candidate will have a substantial amount of experience with operating ML systems and models in production, as well as knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and GXP regulation. Key Responsibilities:
o Act as the voice of the customer for the team, understanding and prioritizing their needs based on feedback, market data, and industry knowledge
o Develop and maintain product backlogs, ensuring that user stories and requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned with the product vision
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and operations personnel, to ensure successful implementation of ML models and pipelines in production
o Manage competing priorities and make effective trade-offs to ensure successful delivery of product features
o Work to continuously improve product quality and ease of use through feedback and testing
o Stay current with industry trends and regulations, including understanding the pharmaceutical industry and GXP regulation Qualifications:
o Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
o 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on ML systems and models in production
o Strong technical background and understanding of ML workflows, data processing, and pipeline architectures
o Proven experience on building large ML workflows
o Experience working in a regulated industry, with a thorough understanding of GXP compliance
o Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product goals, priorities, and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
o Highly self-motivated, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
The position is primarily located in Bagsværd, with flexible working options. As you will be working in a global environment, you must expect some meetings to take place outside Danish working hours and some travel activity. About the department
We are a team of data scientists, analysts, machine learning engineers and developers, partnering across the organisation to deliver impactful end to end data products, analytics and ML solutions spanning from Research, to Commercial and Production. We want to industrialise and democratise the way we do analytics, reducing the lead time from PoC to Production with scalable data platforms, MLOps, reference architectures and modularised components that span across the whole data and ML lifecycle. We are cloud native and work primarily in AWS. We work agile, embrace continuous learning and a culture of feedback and honesty, and we don’t forget to have fun.
Our group is part of the larger area of BI, Data Management and Analytics, where we get to work closely with our AWS data lake, data marketplace and data science platforms, having cross-functional power to quickly design and implement scalable solutions as well as take care of operations. We are a multinational and diverse group in four different locations in USA, India, Poland and Denmark working in a set of scrum teams, committed to organise and deliver around agile values.
