About the department
ET is organisationally placed in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally address 26,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 55,000 employees. In ET we are more than 1600 dedicated employees in Maaloev and Durham and the area is still growing. For the future we have many ambitions, and we are working hard to get our new oral medication for people with type 2 diabetes on the market. Together we will succeed and still strive being at the forefront of the development of technology, systems and processes etc.
The position In ET, LEAN is more than just a set of tools, it is a culture and a mindset that are continuously developed in our organisation. As one of our new Department Lean Partners you will report to a department manager and will be a part of the department leadership team. You will be responsible for the lean initiatives in the department and for improving the lean maturity. Your main tasks we be:
  • Coaching of leaders in performance board meetings
  • Facilitate problem solving activities in the department
  • Drive improvement projects
  • Implementation and improvement of lean systems or tools to solve business challenges
  • Facilitate process mapping activities (e.g. Value stream mapping)
  • Moreover, you will be a part of a lean network across the business unit and will be involved in cross organisational lean projects. Your lean colleagues will consist of Departments LEAN partners from other departments, and a centralised LEAN team with Lean partners and Specialists supporting across the business unit.
    Qualifications
    To be successful in this role, you have:
  • A solid LEAN toolbox and proven track records of results within a manufacturing environment – preferably in a highly regulated environment
  • Excellent change management and stakeholder management skills at all levels
  • Hands-on experience in improving visual management and driving data driven decision making
  • A relevant academic degree and are fluent in English and can communicate orally in Danish
  • As an individual, you are positive, corporative and solution orientated, and you work systematically, logically, and proactive. You can interact and communicate at all levels of the organization, and you take pride in solving your tasks and challenges as close to the process with the close involvement of your key stakeholders. On a personal level, you are a team player, but are not scared of working on your own when you coach and challenge leaders or collecting data in the production. You have experience with implementing optimisation projects and you naturally involve and motivate your customers to realise the business targets.
