Would you like to develop your skills in an innovative and world-leading company, within diagnostic hearing and balance solutions? We are looking for a team-orientated Software Director, who can lead the software development organization and continue our ambition to develop best-in-class software.
Our purpose is to deliver user-friendly and innovative software solutions for our audiological instrumentation. With 48 software engineers split between Denmark and Poland, we seek to ensure that everyone feels part of the family; software development is a team effort! We are driven by the desire to provide the best solutions for hearing healthcare professionals worldwide, and software solutions for medical instruments challenge us to push the boundaries of what is possible, both in embedded- and PC software.
Because of the challenging product portfolio, we are always exploring new ways of working and developing our software team. This is where you come in. In short, we need you to lead the software development organization. More specifically, you will have two software team leads and our architect team in direct line of report, plus a dotted line to a software team lead in Poland. The task facing you is to spearhead our ambition to develop best-in-class software, at both of our development centers in Denmark and Poland. Besides this you will play a central role in developing and building a new software site in our Kuala Lumpur office.
Your Tasks:
We imagine you are an M.Sc. (cand.scient.) within software engineering, computer science or similar – ideally combined with experience within software development and leadership. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience in managing remote teams and with documented experience of developing well-performing software teams. While your technical skills will enable you to think strategically about the direction of our software solutions and technologies, the most important factor is that you are driven by people management. We hope to see you foster a culture of empowerment in your team and always be a pillar of support and guidance.

- Manage highly skilled software engineers.
- Maintain a healthy collaboration between staff located in Denmark and Poland.
- Manage and create an overview of team resources and projects.
- Manage budgets and resources for software development projects.
