The position In the role of Business Ethics Compliance Lead at Fill & Finish, you are entrusted with the pivotal role of crafting the ethical framework that guides our business operations. Your core duties revolve around the identification and evaluation of potential ethical and reputational hazards, as well as the creation and refinement of compliance protocols to curtail these risks. Your expertise will serve as a cornerstone for our Corporate teams, assisting them in refining Novo Nordisk's overarching strategy for business ethics. Your key responsibilities include:
  • Offering counsel to the management of Fill & Finish and to capital expenditure initiatives concerning ethical concerns, ensuring compliance with Novo Nordisk's ethical benchmarks.
  • Crafting, executing, and perpetually reviewing the compliance guidelines specific to business ethics, and championing compliance within investment projects to avert and lessen ethical risks.
  • Monitoring trends within the industry and conveying new developments to the management of Fill & Finish and other pertinent stakeholders in matters related to business ethics.
  • Designing and delivering training programs focused on business ethics for investment projects and key personnel, promoting a culture that encourages open communication.
  • Qualifications To excel in this role, candidates should possess
  • A comprehensive background in business ethics and compliance, particularly within sizable corporations
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct involvement with ethics and compliance activities in a highly regulated sector or an international business context.
  • While not mandatory, prior exposure to the pharmaceutical sector is considered beneficial.
  • Proficiency in creating and facilitating compliance training initiatives.
  • Aptitude for leading and engaging in multidisciplinary projects, as well as navigating a complex web of stakeholder relationships.
  • Full professional proficiency in English, encompassing both written and verbal communication. You are deeply committed to fostering strong business partnerships and generating value for stakeholders, upholding integrity and impartiality in all professional dealings. About the department Fill & Finish is a newly established division within Novo Nordisk and oversees the largest investment portfolio within Novo Nordisk. The multi-billion portfolio is being governed via the central ‘Programme Office’, in which the finance department is anchored. Programme Office is an international and high-performing organisation, consisting of around 60 people from more than 10 countries. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering high-quality reporting to management and ensuring that business ethics standards are upheld within our fast-growing Fill & Finish organisation. You will be working closely with Fill & Finish management and key stakeholders across the company to develop and implement policies and procedures that support Novo Nordisk’s core values and ethical standards.
