We are seeking five medical doctors (MDs) with a desire to explore career opportunities at Novo Nordisk. Join Novo Nordisk’s Pharmaceutical Medicine Programme! The Position Novo Nordisk is seeking ambitious medical doctors (MDs) who are interested in getting an insight into the pharmaceutical industry and who have the ambition to improve the lives of people living with serious chronic diseases around the world. A position in the Pharmaceutical Medicine Programme offers you the opportunity to build a career in Novo Nordisk through an accelerated personal and professional learning journey. The Pharmaceutical Medicine Programme is a two-year program that gives you the opportunity to experience Novo Nordisk through three eight-month rotations in key organisational areas. During each rotation, you will work as an integral team member on core elements of drug development, such as clinical trials, drug safety, and scientific communication. Throughout the program, you will be exposed to projects requiring medical and scientific expertise. Qualification We are looking for someone who focus on fostering genuine teamwork and nurturing positive relationships within a diverse and dynamic international environment as of utmost importance. Important: we are looking for someone with no previous Pharma Experience! A successful candidate is expected to have:
  • A university degree as a medical doctor is a must to be eligible for the position.
  • We seek candidates who have passed post-graduate internships
  • Between two and five years of clinical experience and documented research experience, or other qualifications of benefit and relevance to Novo Nordisk
  • Analytical mindset and be capable of working in an international setting in a culture of respect, teamwork, and diversity
  • We expect that you are fluent in written and spoken English
    • You should be willing to move to Denmark and work in an international arena. Novo Nordisk will support you and your family with the relocation. The rotations are based in our corporate headquarter in Copenhagen, Denmark, and some travelling is expected.
