About the job
As Senior Laboratory Software Validation Specialist you will become part of Lab Compliance. Lab Compliance is responsible for implementing new laboratory equipment and for troubleshooting and repairing equipment to ensure high up time. The department is part of Fertin’s R&D organization and is a team of highly skilled and dedicated Specialists.
To enable Fertin to pursue its mission for supporting healthier living the analytical laboratories are expanding with new types of equipment and increasing demands on performance.
The position as Senior Laboratory Software Validation Specialist is a new position and will play a key role in ensuring state-of-the-art and compliant R&D and QC laboratories.
Together with your colleagues, you will be involved in implementing and maintaining laboratory equipment in a pharma setting where you will contribute with your extensive expertise within qualification of software that are controlling lab equipment.
Key responsibilities:
- Be the department expert within validation of software that is controlling laboratory equipment. You will have a broad contact both within the department and throughout Fertin.
- Responsible for keeping quality documents and templates within laboratory software current and through a risk-based approach ensure the right level.
- Responsible for regular updating and requalification of all software that are controlling laboratory equipment
- Participate in qualification and maintenance activities of new laboratory equipment

Experience & competencies:
- You probably have a master’s degree within the field of chemistry alternatively a degree within software combined with a strong interest for laboratory equipment
- You are a self-driven and detail-oriented person with a good sense of humor
- 6-10 years of experience with qualification and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Extensive experience with maintenance and validation of software for laboratory equipment
- Knowledge within GMP, GAMP, 21CFR part11 and Eudralex Annex 11
