About the department In Corporate Procurement we are 150 employees in Denmark and India, and globally more than 400 people work in Procurement throughout the organization managing approx. 75% of Novo Nordisk’s spend and responsible for setting the strategic direction. Corporate Procurement is Novo Nordisk’s Center of Excellence for category strategies, digital procurement, and purchasing processes. The position An increasingly important focus area in Procurement is Supplier Risk Management – a key functional capability to build a resilient supply base and support business growth. As Supply Risk Management Lead you will be part of shaping the newly established Supplier Risk Management Center of Excellence, reporting to the Vice President of Business Intelligence, Project Office, and Sustainability. With a collaborative environment, informal culture, and an inclusive workplace, you will collaborate with brilliant coworkers from Corporate Procurement's CoEs in data and advanced analytics, project management and procurement excellence, and sustainability. Building and furthering the development of our Supplier Risk Management CoE will be one of your primary responsibilities as the cluster lead for a team of three to four people in the Global Procurement organization. The Lead will be in charge of establishing the team and practices, including those for controlling supplier risks across all indirect spend categories, as well as: Data integration from external systems
Supply risk assessment framework across holistic risk indicators
Support development and execution of risk mitigation strategies together with colleagues working closely with procurement categories and other internal organization units.
Collaborate with Category Managers to embed risk management solutions into sourcing strategies
Qualifications To thrive and succeed, we expect you have:
Master’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
Ability to build, lead and be the go-to person for supplier risk management
Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with complex data / information set
Strong executioner and making things operational
A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, compliance and/ or related supply chains required, with exposure to risk management scope. Experience with Risk Management systems and/or Coupa is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
As a team player, you are pragmatic, results-oriented and good at keeping focus and executing to meet the targets. People know you from your strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to confidently present information, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, a flair for stakeholder interactions and for motivating others.
