If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Sourcing Project Manager at our Strategy, Sourcing & Negotiation CoE in Strategic Sourcing. The position As a Sourcing Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to: Act as a steward of the sourcing process and collaborate with category managers to drive sourcing projects, supplier selection, and go-to-market events. Apply your business acumen and understanding to help execute the strategic agenda and category strategies. Develop, promote, and facilitate best-in-class sourcing processes and frameworks. Coach and train sourcing colleagues in the sourcing processes. Your success will depend on your ability to bridge the needs of the organization and the availabilities of the market, creating the best supply solutions for Novo Nordisk. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their skills within sourcing and project management in a growing department. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: M.Sc. degree in business administration, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience in driving sourcing projects and supplier negotiations, or alternatively project management and/or consultancy experience. A strategic mindset and an ability to quickly understand different business models and industry dynamics. Strong analytical skills and comfort dealing with quantitative/qualitative data. Good verbal and PowerPoint presentation skills. Fluency in both verbal and written English. As a person, you naturally take responsibility for driving projects forward, interacting with stakeholders at all levels and across a complex stakeholder landscape. It is important that you: Are comfortable challenging the status quo and can promote alternative solutions to the benefit of the organization. Communicate clearly and concisely and are comfortable in giving presentations. Impact decision-making through clear recommendations, always founded on solid data and analysis. Additionally, you thrive in a busy environment and bring a ‘can-do attitude’ and always act as a team player. About the department Strategic Sourcing is the central sourcing unit in Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply division responsible for the sourcing of all raw materials, finished products and outsourced manufacturing enabling Novo Nordisk’s worldwide supply of pharmaceutical products. Through collaboration with our global supplier network, we ensure availability of the supply needed to develop and produce products which help millions of people around the world to better live with chronical diseases. Further, we are instrumental in driving our sustainability aspirations across the supplier network. You will join our Strategy, Sourcing & Negotiation department. We are a dedicated group of people with strong experience in running tenders and negotiating high profile contracts. We drive projects across our global organization as partners to category managers and the management team in Strategic Sourcing.
