Then, this is your chance as we are looking for a Supply Chain specialist.
The position
As the Senior Supply Chain specialist, you are managing complex challenges to ensure problem solving and significantly improve and change methods and techniques in processes and systems within Supply Chain.
You will be expected to actively contribute to deploying the strategy and optimizations across the supply chain, by executing strategic projects and act as specialist, providing your insights and expertise to shape our future supply chain. You will be working closely with the management team and project managers, serving as a sparring partner, ensuring maximized value for our patients and the business.The job will give you a solid knowledge of the Supply chain and the Novo Nordisk organization as it requires a strong focus on stakeholder management across functions and organizational levels.
Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Strategy deployment
Support execution of other strategic projects in supply chain & Product Supply as needed Project execution
Design new processes within supply chain
You will independently drive several initiatives simultaneously and work closely with stakeholders across the organization, which requires that you have a good overview and the ability to execute multiple tasks.
QualificationsAn academic degree in supply chain, economics, engineering or similar At least 5 years of experience within supply chain or logistics Project Management and/or LEAN management experience The ability to set directions in developing business cases and constructively challenge on all levels of the organization
On a personal level, you are curious, ambitious and have a critical sense. Building trusting relationships across organizational levels is natural for you and you can influence the organization around you. You are fluent in spoken and written English.
We expect you to have a great interest in Supply Chain processes and see every opportunity to improve the processes.
About the department
You will be joining a cluster within Supply Chain Business Support & Monitoring in Supply Chain. The unit is responsible for supporting our supply chain management with strategic supply/demand challenges, driving key strategic projects and improvements across the supply chain as well as continuous monitoring the health of the supply chain.You will become part of a team of highly skilled colleagues with high engagement and focus on delivering strong results. We are a newly established team consisting of different roles and profiles but with the same purpose of supporting our Novo Nordisk Supply Chain.

- Develop and pitch new supply chain projects to senior management
- Set direction, manage, motivate and coach project team members
- Anchor benefit realization with process owners in line of business
- Manage external consultants (if relevant)
- Be a part of cross-functional teams and projects to provide expertise and insights
- Independently bring forward ideas and business cases to improve processes and/or carry through significant changes in logistical setups
