Do you want to engage with key stakeholders in implementation of therapy area strategies across the Obesity & Liver Disease in Clinical Drug Development in Novo Nordisk? Then you might be the Senior Strategic Lead we are looking for. The position As a Senior Strategic Lead, you will be responsible for running strategic processes across the area, pro-actively engaging with key stakeholders to develop the plans and supporting the Obesity, Liver Diseases & Devices leadership team. You will work closely with the leadership team and will be a key partner for the Corporate Project Vice President (CPVP) on business, strategy, and organisationally related matters. You will be responsible for driving an array of day-to-day deliverables, while also supporting key decision processes and stakeholder management tasks through your input and recommendations to the CPVP and relevant leadership teams. Your key responsibilities include: Strategic execution and project management of therapy area strategy deliverables by driving plans, analyses and presentations towards governance interactions. Provide strategic support to the Obesity, Liver Diseases & Devices leadership team by executing business projects and organisational development plans. Qualifications You hold a master’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience in running processes, planning projects and business case analyses and presentations. To be considered for this position you need to have: Extensive experience with project management in a large complex organization. Experience with strategic business processes preferably within pharmaceutical industry. Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain. Experience working in a role requiring ability to navigate among multiple (senior) stakeholders. You are passionate about constant improvement, taking pride in delivering results with quality and pace. You have excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and can develop persuasive strategic documents and presentations. On a personal level, you are known for your proactive, positive and energetic attitude when dealing with challenges. Moreover, you have strong analytical and communication skills and a structured and practical approach to your tasks enabling you to deliver in due time. You possess leadership and interpersonal skills, and can engage people, build trust, and get commitment from stakeholders to support your projects and drive change. You are comfortable in a rapid changing and dynamic work environment and can prioritize and not lose sight of the bigger picture. About the department The Obesity, Liver Diseases & Devices project area is anchored in Clinical Drug Development as part of the Development organisation. We are responsible for an exciting pipeline of clinical development projects in Obesity & Liver Diseases and our trial activities range from phase 1 to phase 4. We collaborate closely across many skill areas. You will be part of a high performing culture with focus on patient needs, science, cross-functional collaboration, and personal development.
