You will be based in our HQ in Copenhagen and join a global team of 30 dedicated colleagues. You should expect a few travel days doing the year.

The role:

We are looking for a strong talent who is keen on being part of - and driving the global adoption of the transformation within the area of “Port Call and Connection Planning”.

It’s an excellent opportunity to think customer first and by doing that we need to work through identifying the right processes, policies, data, and tools to improve the customer outcomes.

As we embark on this journey, the role will offer you great opportunities for professional development. Along with your colleagues this role will play a crucial part in transforming, standardizing, and automating the Service Delivery landscape to arrive at a greatly improved service delivery for our customers.

As a Business Process Engineer you will be responsible for driving radical improvements in process design within your areas of Port Call Planning and Connection Planning. You will build and drive process alignment end-to-end across departments, ensuring that the processes are work towards the shared business outcome.

General responsibilities

Work with our colleagues in the operations centers (OCLs) as well as the products owners to define a standardize our processes, but also develop new ways of working
Be part of rolling out new standards and ways of working
Work with our local teams to ensure process alignment and adherence
Responsible for ensuring processes are correctly documented, up to date and available in our process tool (ARIS)
Support the identification of opportunities for process improvements including improvements supported by automation and digital tools across teams and departments
Participate in projects and workgroups, requiring process and system knowledge
Co-create and drive the vision for your functional product scope

As the Business Process Engineer, you are supporting the Functional Product Owner (FPO) in developing and implementing the Service Delivery Vision. Together with the FPO you will be responsible for identifying and driving process improvement throughout the organization.

Skills and qualifications

Experience running process redesign and improvement initiatives in complex business environments
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to achieve the necessary outcomes across departments
Experience with BPMN and process design software (In Maersk we use Aris)

Team player who is able to work across multiple functional teams and achieve consensus across diverse groups
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
3+ years of experience related to business process development preferably in a production facility, transportation hub e.g., airport or parcel distribution center, or similar industry
At least a Bachelor’s in a relevant field preferably paired with a certification within process management
